Can't get bacon stock in supermarkets anymore so really grateful for this outlet to purchase it again.

Add Pizazz to Pumpkin Soup.
I discovered recently that supermarket bacon bones don't seem to have the same 'bacony' flavour they used to. Seeing as the supermarket was chock full of great Supermarket Hybrid pumpkins, I decided to see if I could make pumpkin soup using bacon stock. I made my stock as usual using onions, garlic, parsley, celery and carrots and added three big spoonfuls of the bacon stock. Then I added the pumpkin and simmered the soup for about 2 hours. Then, a quick blitz with the hand blender and it was ready. It was so smooth and totally delicious.
