Shipping Timeframe & Information

Current Shipping Timeframe:

Orders are currently being shipped 2-3 working days after order date

Delivery timeframe:

South Island Residential: Overnight

North Island Residential: Two to three working days 

Rural Delivery: Please allow an additional 24 to 48 working hours to the above timeframes for orders to be delivered to rural addresses 

These timeframes are subject to no delays in the network, like the weather, road closures, accidents, truck break downs, ferry delays, branch freight volumes,  unavoidable staff shortages, mother nature. 

Every effort is made to deliver within the service standard but sometimes it just doesn’t/can’t happen

When your order is collected and scanned by our courier driver you will receive an email advising you of the tracking details for your order

Additional Shipping/ Order Information:

PO Boxes: We cannot ship to PO boxes. Please ensure a physical address is entered at checkout to prevent delays 

Pick up: Please only select pick up if you are intending to collect your order from our warehouse in Picton

Rural shipping: During check-out you will be asked to select the correct shipping fee for your order, either residential or rural. If you've chosen the residential option instead or rural, we will contact you before proceeding with the order notifying you of the extra charges. Full payment including the extra freight charges must be made before the order will be processed and sent.

Large orders: For large orders that do not display a shipping option for you at checkout please email us at sales@realfooddirect.co.nz with your order and we will be able to give you a subsidized shipping rate for your order

Cancellation/ Changes to order: Once an order has been placed it is not possible to cancel your order once it has been confirmed but if changes are needed we will do our best to accommodate these.

Out of Stock Items: Sometimes our system oversells a product and we need to order more stock in. We will advise you of the delay and let you know the expected timeframe on new stock.
