Lallemand Bio-Ingredients Engevita® Vege Regime Powder is a primary grown yeast rich in vitamins and minerals. It has been inactivated by heat and roller dried. The result is yellow colored powder with nutty, slightly yeasty, roasted flavor notes. I use Nutritional Yeast in a wide range of recipes. It adds a cruelty free, cheesy flavour to tofu scramble, mashed potatoes, baked beans, pasta sauces, risotto, vegan queso fresco and my favourite vegan chick'n recipe. I use it frequently and it's great being able to buy it in reasonable size containers.

A wonder food for vegans.
As a vegan I need my B12 vitamin and this is the best, most yummy way to get it. I have it with my soup each evenings. It gives a delicious savoury cheesy taste to any dish. This nutritional yeast tastes so much better than other brands I've tried.
